Trezor Safe 7

The Trezor Safe 7 is Trezor's flagship hardware wallet and the first with two secure elements working together. It is also the first Trezor you can genuinely use from an iPhone.

If you have looked at a Trezor before and been put off by the iOS limitations, this is the model that removes them.

Two secure elements, not one

Common questions

How is this different from the Trezor Safe 5?
Safe 5 has one secure element, no battery, no Bluetooth, and is view-only on iPhone. Safe 7 adds a second secure element, encrypted Bluetooth, a battery with wireless charging, an aluminum body, a much larger screen and full iOS functionality.

Can I really use it with an iPhone?
Yes. Safe 7 is the only Trezor with full iOS functionality, working over Bluetooth rather than a cable.

Is there a Bitcoin-only version?
Yes, Trezor sells a Bitcoin-only edition with the same hardware and no altcoin code.

What does "quantum-ready" mean here?
Post-quantum cryptography protects firmware updates, device authentication and the boot process, so those remain trustworthy if quantum computing advances.

Is the firmware open source?
Yes. Trezor publishes its firmware for anyone to review, audit and verify.
