Return and Exchange Policy
Faulty on arrival: if a device arrives defective — a broken screen, a connectivity fault — we replace it with a new one straight away. No forms, no waiting on the manufacturer.
Warranty: hardware wallets carry a 1-year warranty, and claims are handled by us rather than an overseas support queue. CryptoSafe steel backup products are sold without warranty, as stated on those product pages.
Change of mind or wrong model: we do not accept returns or give refunds, whether or not the box has been opened. We accept returns for defective products only, which we exchange within 30 days of delivery. This is a security limitation of these devices: once a device has left us, we cannot assure the next customer that it has not been interfered with.
How to arrange an exchange for a faulty item
- Message us on LINE at @siambc or email order@siambc.com before sending anything back.
- Include your order number, what is wrong, and a photo or short video.
- Send the item back to us at your own shipping cost. Once we have checked it, we exchange it.
Refunds: faulty items are exchanged rather than refunded.

Common questions
How is it different from the Safe 3?
Same EAL6+ secure element. The Safe 5 adds a color touchscreen, Gorilla Glass 3, haptic feedback and a MicroSD slot.
How is it different from the Safe 7?
The Safe 7 adds a second secure element, encrypted Bluetooth, a battery with wireless charging, an aluminum body, a much larger screen, and full iPhone support. The Safe 5 has none of those but costs considerably less.
Can I use it with an iPhone?
Only in a limited way. Checking balances, buying and receiving work; sending, swapping and setup do not.
What does NDA-free mean?
Most secure element makers require a non-disclosure agreement, so the chip cannot be discussed publicly. Trezor chose a chip without that restriction, which allows more open scrutiny.

How to check your device is genuine
- The box must be shrink-wrappedThe Safe 5 box comes wrapped in clear or watermarked plastic. If the wrap is torn or looks as if it was opened and rewrapped, do not use the device and contact us right away.
- The holographic seal over USB-C must be intactA holographic seal covers the USB-C port. It should be clean, firmly attached and untorn. If it is damaged or missing, stop the setup and contact us. Peeling it off leaves a VOID mark on the device, which is normal.
- The device must show no signs of tamperingLook around the body, the edges and the seams. There should be no pry marks, scratches, glue residue, or loose or badly fitted parts. If you find any of these, do not use the device and contact us right away.
- Both Seed Phrase backup cards must be blankIf any words are already written or printed on them, never use the device. Contact us right away.
- A new device ships without firmwareEvery Safe 5 leaves the factory without firmware, and Trezor Suite installs correctly signed firmware during setup. If the device already has firmware, do not use it and contact us right away.
- Let Trezor Suite check the deviceOn first connection, Trezor Suite uses the secure element to confirm the device is genuine, and it verifies the firmware signature every time you connect. Do not turn off Device Check in settings, and only download Trezor Suite from trezor.io/start.

How much is the Trezor Safe 5?

Does it work with iPhone?
Only partly. On iPhone you can view balances and receive, but setup, sending and device management need a computer or an Android phone over USB-C. If you mainly use an iPhone, the Trezor Safe 7 works fully with iPhone over Bluetooth.
How is the Trezor Safe 5 different from the Safe 3?
They use the same secure element (OPTIGA Trust M), so security is the same level. The Safe 5 adds a 1.54-inch color touchscreen with haptic feedback and a Gorilla Glass 3 front, while the Safe 3 uses a monochrome OLED screen with 2 buttons and is lighter.
Is the Trezor Safe 5 waterproof?
Trezor does not state a water or dust resistance rating, so keep it away from water. It operates at -20 to 60°C.
How many words is the Seed Phrase?
20 words (SLIP39) by default. You can choose 12 or 24 words (BIP39) or a multi-share backup instead. If you are moving from another wallet with a 12- or 24-word Seed Phrase, you can recover it on the Safe 5.

Yes. Every device we sell is new, sealed, genuine stock from authorized channels. SIAMBC has been Thailand's hardware wallet specialist since 2016 and has a physical store in Bangkok you can walk into.
This matters more than it sounds. A hardware wallet bought from an unknown marketplace seller can arrive already set up by someone else, with a recovery phrase they know. It is the one purchase where the seller genuinely matters.

The exception is the CryptoSafe range of steel recovery phrase backups: these products carry no warranty and cannot be returned or exchanged, as stated on their product pages.

Can I set it up myself?
Yes, and you should do every step yourself. It takes a few minutes: you press every button on the device, create the wallet and write down your recovery phrase on your own.

Which model should I choose?
It depends on the phone you use and what you are protecting. The most common mistake is buying a wallet that does not work with your phone — the Ledger Nano S Plus does not support iPhone at all, and most Trezor models are view-only on iOS.

What happens if I lose my hardware wallet?
Nothing, as long as you still have your recovery phrase. The device only holds the keys — buy any compatible wallet, enter your phrase, and your crypto is back.
The real risk is losing the phrase itself. That is why we suggest keeping it on steel rather than the paper card in the box. Paper burns, water ruins it, and in Thailand termites eat it.
Will anyone ever ask for my recovery phrase?
No. Anyone who asks for it is a scammer, without exception. Neither SIAMBC nor any manufacturer will ever ask for your recovery phrase — not for a warranty claim, not for identity verification, not for a firmware update. Whoever has those words owns your crypto, and it can never be recovered.
