Today we received a question from a customer having trouble connecting their Trezor to their computer.

We asked for a screenshot in order to work out what the problem was, and what we found was that the URL the customer had opened from a Google search was a fake, as shown below.

Anyone who can read the red English text will see that this fake Trezor page wants us to enter our 24 words so that it can steal our money.

So we want to warn every Trezor user to watch out for theft of this kind. Whatever happens, never give your 24 words to anyone — not even to us, and not even to Trezor.

Another thing every Trezor user should do is bookmark the real Trezor.io link on their computer, and always go in through that bookmark, so that this sort of mistake cannot happen.
