Trezor announced today that its Google Chrome extension is being discontinued, and has introduced a program called Trezor Bridge to replace it.
If you would rather not install software, there is no need to worry. Trezor understands that some users want something simple with no fuss, so they have added a new method called WebUSB as well.
WebUSB connects directly through Google Chrome with no additional software to install. Trezor will be releasing new firmware for this shortly.
Anyone already using the Google Chrome extension can carry on using it as normal, but Trezor will no longer be issuing updates for it.
Trezor has also announced a new product, the Trezor Model T. If you are interested, see the source link for details.
