Return and Exchange Policy
Faulty on arrival: if a device arrives defective — a broken screen, a connectivity fault — we replace it with a new one straight away. No forms, no waiting on the manufacturer.
Warranty: hardware wallets carry a 1-year warranty, and claims are handled by us rather than an overseas support queue. CryptoSafe steel backup products are sold without warranty, as stated on those product pages.
Change of mind or wrong model: we do not accept returns or give refunds, whether or not the box has been opened. We accept returns for defective products only, which we exchange within 30 days of delivery. This is a security limitation of these devices: once a device has left us, we cannot assure the next customer that it has not been interfered with.
How to arrange an exchange for a faulty item
- Message us on LINE at @siambc or email order@siambc.com before sending anything back.
- Include your order number, what is wrong, and a photo or short video.
- Send the item back to us at your own shipping cost. Once we have checked it, we exchange it.
Refunds: faulty items are exchanged rather than refunded.

The Trezor Model One is the original hardware wallet, first released in 2014 and still sold and supported today. It is the cheapest way to move your crypto off an exchange and into your own hands.
How the Model One protects your keys
Trezor reserve their certified secure element chips for the Safe 3, Safe 5 and Safe 7. The Model One instead relies on open-source firmware that anyone can audit, a PIN, and an optional passphrase.
On iPhone, Trezor Suite offers view-only access for this model. For full iOS functionality, the Trezor Safe 7 is the model to choose; for a certified secure element, the Trezor Safe 3.

Is it still supported?
Yes. Trezor still sells it and still ships firmware for it.
Does it have a secure element?
No. Trezor's secure-element models are the Safe 3, Safe 5 and Safe 7. The Model One relies on open-source firmware, a PIN and an optional passphrase.
Can I use it with an iPhone?
Only for viewing balances. Full iPhone functionality requires the Trezor Safe 7.
Is it good for a beginner?
Yes. It is the simplest and cheapest way to get started, and the two-button workflow is hard to get wrong.

How to check your device is genuine
- The box must have 2 silver seals and a plastic wrapThe Model One box has one silver holographic seal on each side, a thin plastic wrap and a glued closure, so it cannot be opened without tearing. The seals may be an older design, which is fine as long as they are intact. If a seal is damaged, do not use the device and contact us right away.
- The device must show no signs of tamperingLook around the body, the edges and the seams. There should be no pry marks, scratches, glue residue, or loose or badly fitted parts. If you find any of these, do not use the device and contact us right away.
- The screen stays off until you plug it inThe Model One has no battery, so the screen stays off until it is plugged in. That is not a fault.
- A new device ships without firmwareEvery Model One leaves the factory without firmware, and Trezor Suite installs correctly signed firmware during setup. If the device already has firmware, do not use it and contact us right away.
- The device checks its firmware every time you connectEvery time you connect, the bootloader checks the firmware signature. If the firmware is not Trezor's, the device shows a warning on screen. Only download Trezor Suite from trezor.io/start.
- The Seed Phrase must be created on the device during setupA genuine device creates a new Seed Phrase only during your first setup. If anyone gives you a Seed Phrase with the device, never use it.

How much is the Trezor Model One?

Does it work with iPhone?
No. iPhone does not support connecting Trezor devices by cable. Set up the Model One in Trezor Suite on a computer; on Android, use Trezor Suite in a web browser.
Does the Model One still get updates?
Yes. Trezor maintains it until at least 2031, with critical security fixes until at least 2036. If you want a current model at a similar budget, see the Trezor Safe 3, which has an EAL6+ secure element and USB-C.
How do I enter the PIN?
On the Model One you enter the PIN on the computer through a number grid that is reshuffled every time, reading where each digit sits from the device screen. That way the computer never learns your real PIN.
How many words is the Seed Phrase?
24 words (BIP39) by default. You can choose 12 words through advanced setup.

Yes. Every device we sell is new, sealed, genuine stock from authorized channels. SIAMBC has been Thailand's hardware wallet specialist since 2016 and has a physical store in Bangkok you can walk into.
This matters more than it sounds. A hardware wallet bought from an unknown marketplace seller can arrive already set up by someone else, with a recovery phrase they know. It is the one purchase where the seller genuinely matters.
How long does delivery take?

What warranty do I get?
Hardware wallets carry a 1-year warranty, claimed directly through us, with no waiting in an overseas support queue.
If a device is faulty out of the box, we replace it with a new one straight away. No forms, no waiting on the manufacturer.
The exception is the CryptoSafe range of steel recovery phrase backups: these products carry no warranty and cannot be returned or exchanged, as stated on their product pages.
How can I pay?
Credit card, bank transfer, or cash on delivery. You can also pay in person at our Bangkok store.
Can I set it up myself?
Yes, and you should do every step yourself. It takes a few minutes: you press every button on the device, create the wallet and write down your recovery phrase on your own.
Our step-by-step guides walk you through each step. If you get stuck, our team can answer on LINE or by phone, without ever seeing or asking for your recovery phrase.
Which model should I choose?
It depends on the phone you use and what you are protecting. The most common mistake is buying a wallet that does not work with your phone — the Ledger Nano S Plus does not support iPhone at all, and most Trezor models are view-only on iOS.

What happens if I lose my hardware wallet?
Nothing, as long as you still have your recovery phrase. The device only holds the keys — buy any compatible wallet, enter your phrase, and your crypto is back.
The real risk is losing the phrase itself. That is why we suggest keeping it on steel rather than the paper card in the box. Paper burns, water ruins it, and in Thailand termites eat it.
Will anyone ever ask for my recovery phrase?
No. Anyone who asks for it is a scammer, without exception. Neither SIAMBC nor any manufacturer will ever ask for your recovery phrase — not for a warranty claim, not for identity verification, not for a firmware update. Whoever has those words owns your crypto, and it can never be recovered.
