How to check your card is genuine

  1. Everything in the box is thereCompare it with "What's in the box" above. If anything is missing or something unexpected is inside, do not use it and contact us right away.
  2. The box shows no sign of being openedLook all round the box for tears, glue marks or signs it was opened and closed again. If you find any, do not set it up and contact us right away.
  3. No pry marks on the card or the X Card StarterCheck the card, its chip and the Starter for pry marks, glue residue or loose parts. If you find any, do not use them and contact us right away.
  4. The Seed Phrase card is blankIf any words are already written or printed on it, do not use it under any circumstances.
  5. A new card is blankWith the card in the X Card Starter, setup should begin at Create Wallet or a restore that you do yourself. If someone gave you a Card-PIN or Seed Phrase with the card, do not use it.
  6. Get the ELLIPAL app from official stores onlyInstall it from the App Store or Google Play only, never from a link someone sends you in a chat.
  7. No need to open the cardChecking it is genuine never means opening the card or the Starter. Opening them damages them and the warranty no longer applies.

ELLIPAL X Card FAQ

How much is the ELLIPAL X Card?

2,490 ฿ at SIAMBC. That is the final price, with no import tax to pay on top.

Which phones does it work with?

iPhone XS or newer, and Android phones with NFC. Turn NFC on in your phone's settings first. On an iPhone the NFC spot is at the top of the back, near the camera.

Does it need charging?

No. The card has no battery; it draws power from the phone over NFC while you hold it there, so there is no battery to wear out.

Why is there an X Card Starter?

So the wallet and its Seed Phrase are created entirely offline, never on a phone or computer that is online. The Starter also sets the Card-PIN and makes backup cards. Keep it for when you need to restore or reset a card.

My phone does not read the card

Take the phone case off first, especially a thick or magnetic one. Hold the card flat and still against the back of the phone for 5 to 10 seconds rather than tapping it quickly. If it still fails, move it slowly to find that phone's NFC spot.

What if I forget my Card-PIN?

A Card-PIN cannot be recovered. Reset the card with the X Card Starter and restore it from your Seed Phrase. After 10 wrong Card-PIN attempts the card resets by itself.

If I lose the card, can someone else use it?

Not without the Card-PIN, and after 10 wrong attempts the card resets. Your wallet can be restored from the Seed Phrase you wrote down, onto a new card or any other wallet that follows BIP39.

How is the X Card different from the Titan 2.0?

The X Card is an NFC card with no screen; the phone app shows the details. It is easy to carry, never needs charging and has a CC EAL6+ chip. The Titan 2.0 has a 4 inch touchscreen for checking each transaction on the device before you sign, and no connection at all apart from QR codes.

Will SIAMBC or ELLIPAL ever ask for my Seed Phrase?

Neither of us will, ever. Anyone who asks for your Seed Phrase, device password or Card-PIN is a scammer, whether they claim to be SIAMBC staff, use ELLIPAL's name, or say it is for a warranty claim, identity check or firmware update.

Before you buy

Are your products genuine?

Yes. Every device we sell is new, sealed, genuine stock from authorized channels. SIAMBC has been Thailand's hardware wallet specialist since 2016 and has a physical store in Bangkok you can walk into.

This matters more than it sounds. A hardware wallet bought from an unknown marketplace seller can arrive already set up by someone else, with a recovery phrase they know. It is the one purchase where the seller genuinely matters.

How long does delivery take?

Orders normally arrive within 1 to 2 business days, depending on where you are — faster if you are in Bangkok.

Need it today? We can send it by Grab or LINEMAN for same-day delivery. Call us or message us on LINE to arrange it, pay by bank transfer, and it goes out immediately.

You are also welcome to collect from our Bangkok store.

Can I collect from your store instead?

Yes. We are in Thawi Watthana, Bangkok, open Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You are welcome to come in, see the devices in person and ask questions before you buy. We answer in Thai and English. Find us here.

What warranty do I get?

Hardware wallets carry a 1-year warranty, claimed directly through us, with no waiting in an overseas support queue.

If a device is faulty out of the box, we replace it with a new one straight away. No forms, no waiting on the manufacturer.

The exception is the CryptoSafe range of steel recovery phrase backups: these products carry no warranty and cannot be returned or exchanged, as stated on their product pages.

How can I pay?

Credit card, bank transfer, or cash on delivery. You can also pay in person at our Bangkok store.

Can I set it up myself?

Yes, and you should do every step yourself. It takes a few minutes: you press every button on the device, create the wallet and write down your recovery phrase on your own.

Our step-by-step guides walk you through each step. If you get stuck, our team can answer on LINE or by phone, without ever seeing or asking for your recovery phrase.

Which model should I choose?

It depends on the phone you use and what you are protecting. The most common mistake is buying a wallet that does not work with your phone — the Ledger Nano S Plus does not support iPhone at all, and most Trezor models are view-only on iOS.

Compare every model side by side, or ask us. We will tell you honestly which one fits.

What happens if I lose my hardware wallet?

Nothing, as long as you still have your recovery phrase. The device only holds the keys — buy any compatible wallet, enter your phrase, and your crypto is back.

The real risk is losing the phrase itself. That is why we suggest keeping it on steel rather than the paper card in the box. Paper burns, water ruins it, and in Thailand termites eat it.

Will anyone ever ask for my recovery phrase?

No. Anyone who asks for it is a scammer, without exception. Neither SIAMBC nor any manufacturer will ever ask for your recovery phrase — not for a warranty claim, not for identity verification, not for a firmware update. Whoever has those words owns your crypto, and it can never be recovered.

Still have a question?

Message us on LINE or come into the shop. We would rather answer first than have you buy the wrong device.
