How to check your device is genuine

  1. Everything in the box is thereCompare it with "What's in the box" above. If anything is missing or something unexpected is inside, do not switch the device on and contact us right away.
  2. The seal stickers on both sides and the plastic wrap are intactThe box carries a seal sticker on each side and an outer plastic wrap. If the seals are torn and the wrap has been opened, do not set the device up and contact us right away.
  3. No pry marks on the deviceCheck all round the device, its edges, seams and USB-C port for pry marks, glue residue or loose parts. If you see any of these, do not use the device and contact us right away.
  4. The Seed Phrase sheet is blankIf any words are already written or printed on it, do not use the device under any circumstances.
  5. A new device starts at language selectionHold the power button on the right side for 3 seconds. A new device opens at language selection, then lets you create or restore a wallet yourself. If it asks for a PIN or fingerprint straight away, or someone gave you a PIN or Seed Phrase with it, do not use it.
  6. Get the DCENT app from official stores onlyInstall it from the App Store or Google Play only, never from a link someone sends you in a chat.
  7. No need to open the deviceChecking it is genuine never means opening it. Opening the device makes it erase its data, damages it and ends the warranty.

DCENT Biometric Wallet FAQ

How much is the DCENT Biometric Wallet?

6,990 ฿ at SIAMBC, Thailand's authorized DCENT distributor.

Does it work with iPhone?

Yes. It connects over Bluetooth to the DCENT app on an iPhone with iOS 15.5 or later, or on Android 9.0 or later.

Can I use it with a computer?

Yes, through the DCENT Wallet for Chrome extension on 64-bit Windows or macOS, with a USB-C cable that carries data. A charge-only cable leaves the computer unable to see the device.

What if my fingerprint is not recognized?

After 5 failed scans the device asks for your PIN instead, so always remember it. If scans often fail, delete and re-enroll your fingerprint under Setting > Security.

What if I forget my PIN?

You get 10 PIN attempts. After the tenth wrong one the device resets and deletes all key data; then restore it with your 24-word Seed Phrase, plus the 25th word if you set one.

How long does the battery last?

About 4 hours of continuous use. Switched off, the battery runs down in about a month, so in storage charge it every 1 to 2 months. Use a 5V charger or a computer USB port, never a fast charger.

Do I have to restore my wallet after a firmware update?

No. The keys stay in the chip through an update, but always have your Seed Phrase with you before you start. Updates cannot be rolled back. Update from a computer, or from an Android phone with an OTG cable.

Is it waterproof?

No water or dust rating is given for this model, so keep it away from water.

Will SIAMBC or DCENT ever ask for my Seed Phrase?

Neither of us will, ever. Anyone who asks for your Seed Phrase or PIN is a scammer, whether they claim to be SIAMBC staff, use DCENT's name, or say it is for a warranty claim, identity check or firmware update.

Before you buy

Are your products genuine?

Yes. Every device we sell is new, sealed, genuine stock from authorized channels. SIAMBC has been Thailand's hardware wallet specialist since 2016 and has a physical store in Bangkok you can walk into.

This matters more than it sounds. A hardware wallet bought from an unknown marketplace seller can arrive already set up by someone else, with a recovery phrase they know. It is the one purchase where the seller genuinely matters.

How long does delivery take?

Orders normally arrive within 1 to 2 business days, depending on where you are — faster if you are in Bangkok.

Need it today? We can send it by Grab or LINEMAN for same-day delivery. Call us or message us on LINE to arrange it, pay by bank transfer, and it goes out immediately.

You are also welcome to collect from our Bangkok store.

Can I collect from your store instead?

Yes. We are in Thawi Watthana, Bangkok, open Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You are welcome to come in, see the devices in person and ask questions before you buy. We answer in Thai and English. Find us here.

What warranty do I get?

Hardware wallets carry a 1-year warranty, claimed directly through us, with no waiting in an overseas support queue.

If a device is faulty out of the box, we replace it with a new one straight away. No forms, no waiting on the manufacturer.

The exception is the CryptoSafe range of steel recovery phrase backups: these products carry no warranty and cannot be returned or exchanged, as stated on their product pages.

How can I pay?

Credit card, bank transfer, or cash on delivery. You can also pay in person at our Bangkok store.

Can I set it up myself?

Yes, and you should do every step yourself. It takes a few minutes: you press every button on the device, create the wallet and write down your recovery phrase on your own.

Our step-by-step guides walk you through each step. If you get stuck, our team can answer on LINE or by phone, without ever seeing or asking for your recovery phrase.

Which model should I choose?

It depends on the phone you use and what you are protecting. The most common mistake is buying a wallet that does not work with your phone — the Ledger Nano S Plus does not support iPhone at all, and most Trezor models are view-only on iOS.

Compare every model side by side, or ask us. We will tell you honestly which one fits.

What happens if I lose my hardware wallet?

Nothing, as long as you still have your recovery phrase. The device only holds the keys — buy any compatible wallet, enter your phrase, and your crypto is back.

The real risk is losing the phrase itself. That is why we suggest keeping it on steel rather than the paper card in the box. Paper burns, water ruins it, and in Thailand termites eat it.

Will anyone ever ask for my recovery phrase?

No. Anyone who asks for it is a scammer, without exception. Neither SIAMBC nor any manufacturer will ever ask for your recovery phrase — not for a warranty claim, not for identity verification, not for a firmware update. Whoever has those words owns your crypto, and it can never be recovered.

Still have a question?

Message us on LINE or come into the shop. We would rather answer first than have you buy the wrong device.
