The Tangem Wallet Stealth 3 Cards Set is the same hardware as the standard Tangem 3-card set, in an all-black design intended to draw less attention. Tangem's stated reasoning is that a discreet card “reduces the risk of targeted theft or social engineering attacks by eliminating visual cues that might identify the card as a crypto wallet”.

The three cards are three copies of the same key, so any one of them opens your wallet.

Setup and recovery

Tap the cards to your phone in the Tangem app. The key is generated on the card itself and copied across the set, so every card opens the same wallet.

Is the Stealth set more secure than the standard set?
No. The security is identical. The difference is how much attention the cards attract.

Do the cards have any branding?
The front carries subdued low-contrast branding; the reverse is blank. They are noticeably more discreet than the standard cards.

Do I need all three cards to use the wallet?
No. Any one card opens the wallet. The other two are backups.

Does it need charging?
No. The cards have no battery and draw power from your phone over NFC.

Where will you keep your recovery phrase?
